Bindra has firmly established his credentials as the current World and Olympic Champion in the 10m Air Rifle by scoring a hat trick of 596s in the first three championships he has participated in since the Beijing Olympics. He has equaled his Gold Medal winning performance at RIAC Luxembourg in Dec 2009, IWK Grand Prix Munich in Jan 2010 and INTERSHOOT Netherlands in Feb 2010.

Abhinav Bindra repeated his Gold winning performance again today in the second match of the 33rd InterShoot in Hague, Netherlands. In the qualification round, Bindra started the day with a series of 98 and then shot three consecutive series of perfect 100, 100, 100 followed by 98 and 99 to register a score of 595.
